Introducing "Baby Huey"!
We're excited to welcome "Baby Huey" to Sunset Ranch! As one of the most beautiful and friendly horses we have EVER seen, Baby Huey is officially our mascot and we're so excited to have him as part of our horse family. He will slowly be integrated into our horsemanship programs (HEART: Hawaii Equine Assisted Reflection & Therapy), and available for photo shoots, educational tours, events and retreats. Third Annual "Benefit for the Country"

A Day on the Land
The Trust for Public Land (TPL) facilitates the protection of land across the United States. The Hawaiian Islands office has worked to protect over 42,000 acres in Hawaii. The President of Sunset Ranch Hawaii, Greg Pietsch, is the Chair of TPL's advisory board in Hawaii and as a company we our big supporters of TPLs land conservation efforts. Improvements at Sunset Ranch
In an effort to continue to improve the visitor experience at Sunset Ranch, we're pleased to announce the completion of the following improvements to the property:
1. Fence Install
We're very excited about our new white polyeurethane fence along the border of our lower pasture and at both ranch entrances. We plan to complete the build out of two new ranch entrance gates by year-end 2013. We also plan to add additional pasture fencing in future years, starting with the entire perimeter surrounding our future proposed environmental learning center and followed by the perimeter of the lower pasture.
2. Sunset Stables: Repair and Painting (Interior and Exterior)
In addition to the perimeter fencing, we've repaired and painted the exterior of Sunset Stables. We also painted all of the interior walls in the 10,000 square foot arena, and added rustic chandeliers to the ceiling and shredded rubber to the flooring. The shredded rubber provides a far superior footing for the horses, and contains the dirt beneath it. These are big improvements that we know our horse family and event clients will greatly appreciate and enjoy.
3. Main House Roof Repair and Painting
We have also repaired and coated the entire main house with a silicone based paint. This has not only taken care of leaks we've had to address over the years, but it has cleaned up the look of the main house and has dramatically improved the feel of the entire ranch.
